Journaling After A Bible Study Or In Prayer With Jesus

Amazing grace flows from the heart of the Lord towards His children and as we wait for Him to speak, He will! We can write it down and read it later. It is so wondrous what He says to us as His love cannot help but reach out and enjoy His children.

Sometimes or most times we get the answer to our petition or a new idea or an interpretation to a dream we had. There is nothing quite so thrilling when you see it come to pass according to the words you wrote from Jesus. Such bliss knowing He cares enough to listen and respond.

Copyright Is Dead! Long Live Copyright!

Infringement. File sharing. Piracy. Counterfeiting. Plagiarism.

Whatever you call it, the theft of copyrighted material is just about impossible to control in our ever-expanding, ever-increasing digital age. In fact, there is a widely held belief that technology has made copyright impossible to enforce.

Take the entertainment industry, for example:

While all school children are taught the dangers of plagiarism of print materials when they write their first term papers, many of these same kids are some of the greatest offenders who believe that internet file sharing of their favorite music is their due simply for being fans of this or that rock or rap group.

Writing Tips - Proof It!

Writers tend to be their own worst proofreaders. Why? It’s probably because when they proof their own work, they tend to sink deep into the more organic issues of their texts rather than restricting their attention to spelling, grammar and punctuation.

For example, instead of catching the fact that they shouldn’t have spelled “principal” with a “-ple,” they begin pondering whether they should have used the phrase “tyrannical taskmaster” instead. By the time they decide against that, they have moved on, leaving the offending “principle” to incorrectly describe the balding guy who ran their school.

Relishing Writing Rejection

If you are going to write for any other reason than to send a letter to your mother, you–as a writer–will need to come to terms with varying degrees and types of rejection. There is the rejection of apathy in which other people really don’t care about what you have to say in writing. There is the rejection of the doltish person in your critique group who just doesn’t get it, or, worse, has been waiting for this chance to angle into someone else’s work. Then, there is the outright rejection of sending out a piece to a literary journal and, guess what? It doesn’t’ suit their needs at the present time.

Your Literary Mixing Bowl - The Main Ingredients

There are countless books, articles, guides and tutorials designed to give you all of the technicalities of writing. All too often, we tend to get wrapped up in the formality of rules and regulations, while conscientiously trying to hone in on our creativity. How do you make a story sound exciting enough to grab your reader’s attention and keep it? You must apply action in your compositions and this often comes with rewrite after rewrite after rewrite. Staying motivated, focused and committed are an absolute must. Oftentimes, you will not be able to always depend on someone to get you pumped up, keep you pumped up and to help you roll out those creative compositions to waiting editors and publishers. You have to do that yourself, especially in this industry of a gazillion competitive writers, authors and poets.

Tips For Writers Block

Often when we get blocked it is because we need to write on a particular subject or for a particular assignment, and we may be feeling stressed about doing a good job. Try writing about anything else continuously for ten minutes or longer. Write something you plan to throw away or delete. This will get you started at writing, and you can gradually begin writing about your intended subject or assignment.

Bid Low Or Bid High - Is It A Question?

India is one of those fortunate nations that can take immense pride in its computer savvy section of the population. Software development, web designing, graphic design, and freelance writing are just a few of the disciplines the Indian expertise covers in the outsourced field. Why is India suddenly the playground of the world in terms of BPO and Outsourcing? The answer not only lies in its grasp of the graphical interface within the Internet but also the proficiency in the English language. It is fine that the language aspect can be a driving factor in outsourcing and India probably has the largest number of English speaking professionals. The historical experience of using English as one of the official languages of India is the main advantage though many nations still consider this country under the “English as a second language” category — a fallacy that must be corrected however academically true it may be on paper!
