Build A Stronger Marriage By Setting Relationship Goals

When you consider what your relationship needs, consider the laws of gravity. An object that is set in motion will continue to move, unless something stands in its way. On the flip side, a motionless object will never move unless something acts upon it. Your relationship or marriage will remain inert unless you act to put it and keep it in motion. And, just as day-to-day goals keep you moving from one task to the next, setting goals for your relationship will infuse your relationship with that vital momentum.

Is It Possible To Do Submission Grappling Without Getting Injured?

Is it possible to be a grappler and train injury free? By some reactions that I’ve received in the past, many tend to think that grappling “injury-free” is very possible. Some grapplers like to believe that most injuries could be avoided if training partners were more considerate and less competitive while training.

Do You Really Want To Be A Black Belt - Or Just Faking It?

Let’s say that you’re a BJJ Instructor and you have two students that show up to join your school on the same day. You talk to both of these prospective students to find out their backgrounds and this is what you learned about both of them:

After talking with Grappler #1 (G1), you learn that this grappler
was:

- very confident, showing little or no self-doubt about wanting to achieve the BJJ BB

- very athletic and had been involved with martial arts since he was a child

- a black belt in a traditional martial art
