A Good Time To Buy Santa Monica Real Estate

It’s been said many times during this, the most recent housing crisis, that it’s a buyers market. This has never been truer and both families looking for a home and investors have an excellent chance at not only finding a home at a great price but banks that are willing to be more flexible with loans as well.

Though the real estate market has definitely seen better days many who watch the market closely are predicting a market upswing in 2009.  Once the market begins to recover, price drops and the chances of landing mortgages that favor the buyer more than the bank are likely to become things of the past and rather quickly at that.  In fact many areas have bottomed out in terms of price reductions and are no longer plummeting as they once where.

Changing Direction in Life

Most of us are fearful of change, yet change is inevitable. Embrace it with the unending possibilities and opportunities available in life.

Years ago, before embarking on my spiritual path, I believed that I would and should have a career that would last until my retirement. But since then, and after many years questioning such beliefs and programming, I have come to realize that it is not in the nature of fluid beings of light to be doing anything for an extended period of time. Yes, I do agree that there are some folks who find something they adore and stick with it for their lifetime–but they are not in the majority. Perhaps we can say that they are blessed with an unending passion for what they do.

Human Conscience And Its Functionalism

For many years, ignorance has hidden many important signs of insanity that exist in the human being, but now we have a complete vision of the human psyche, thanks to a research made through dream interpretation in the unknown region of our psychic sphere.

Human conscience is huge and has two different and independent sides. Its human side is very thin and underdeveloped, since there are three psychological functions that are not well developed in this part. One of them is half-developed but the other two live in an atrophic condition, provoking craziness in the rest of the human conscience. However, more craziness comes from the wild side of our conscience, which occupies the biggest part of our psychic sphere and is very powerful and violent.

Public Speaking - Where Do I Find Great Stories To Tell?

Can personal stories make my speech more interesting and impressionable? And if so, how do I ensure I have great stories to tell?

Absolutely! Telling personal stories is one of the easiest and most effective ways of making your speech interesting and impressionable. It is foolproof. You can be the most boring speaker in the entire universe but when you tell a personal story, you will automatically be forgiven. Not only do your stories build rapport with your audience, they differentiate you from the rest of the speakers. In the eyes of your audience, you are unique!

Owen Wilson - Suicide, Depression & Anti-depressants

As a minister and life purpose coach dealing intimately with people and their inner issues, I’ve seen and heard a lot. Most importantly, I’ve experienced suicidal tendencies and depression in my own life. At the age of 12 years old, I was so miserable and demoralized living with my step-mom far out in the country away from all my friends, I also contemplated killing myself.

Later as an adult when after 5 years of marriage, my ex-wife told me she had been having an affair and cheating on me, I experienced my own ground zero. Processing my pain and turning the mess into a message by way of a book that equally wrote me, I learned how to engineer a Breakthrough for a Broken Heart.

The Focus Factor

Have you ever noticed just how powerful focus is in directing our emotions, actions and behaviors? For example, I used to get really freaked out when I drove on the freeway and came upon a stretch that was boundaried by concrete barricades. My attention became more or less locked on those barricades, often inducing a near-panic feeling that any moment I might plow into one. Maybe you’ve had the same experience or something similar.

Well it’s that very same phenomenon–the focus factor–that contributes to a sense of dread anytime you face something uncertain or that you fear. And it is our focus that often determines our emotional state, actions, behavior, perceptions and ultimately our results.
