Financial Privacy Using Legal Entities

When I speak at workshops, I’m often approached by audience members who want to know how to use legal entities for more than just the tax planning, business development and lawsuit protection benefits. They also want to use them for privacy protection. In this article, we’ll explore their use solely for that purpose.

A Separate Legal Person

By their nature, wide recognition under the law, and tax treatment, legal entities are excellent vehicles to use in protecting your privacy and holding ownership of assets in a way that provides a lower profile and helps enhance protection of your personal and financial privacy.

Why am I telling you this?

The other day, my CPA was telling me that the office he previously worked in - had a copy of her will! They kept it on hand to prove to their clients how vulnerable our most private wishes can be, when we leave everything in a will.

Canned Soup Or Houses - Why Bother With Packaging?

Think about the last time you purchased something, anything at all. Let’s say it was a can of soup. Imagine the canned food shelves are crammed and disheveled as you look for your brand. You’re getting annoyed. The first couple of cans you spy are dented and the labels torn. In fact, is that a rodent’s dropping on the top of that one? Disgusting!
