How To House Train Your Dog - Dog Obedience Training
Are you satisfied with your dog’s behavior? I think almost everyone, who has one has thought how to house train him. Training is not necessarily a difficult process but it is a process, which requires a lot of patience from your side. This article will tell you some basics of dog training. Dog training is my passion and I want to share it with as many people as possible.
Obedience
Obedience training can be used to help fulfill some of your dog’s basic needs, such as exercise, the security of knowing what’s expected, a feeling of accomplishment, and constructive social interaction. The obedience trained dog can respond properly to your commands, instead of neurotically trying to please and becoming ever more anxious with your displeasure. The purpose of obedience training is to teach them to behave properly with people around him and become a well- mannered companion to you. Those that have been obedience trained will perform specific tasks when their owners ask them to do so.
Many trainers say that the best method in training is punishment. I agree, it really helps to keep dogs in order and to teach them what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. If mine does anything wrong, I do not give him the treat he would have always had for good behavior and when his behavior is good, I always give him something he really likes. I have used this method to teach my some of the basic commands such as sit, stay, heel, come here and other. It really worked. I recommend this method to anyone at the beginning.
So take my word for it and try out this method. I promise you won’t be disappointed. By simply doing some fun dog training at least every few days, you are giving yourself and your dog the chance to flourish together.
