Over the years the human race has become very lazy, in the way we eat and live. 82% of the North American’s say they eat fast food or takeout food at least once a week. By eating fast food we are not only eating unhealthy we are also being lazy in the way we live, by not cooking. Many say they don’t have the time to cook, but there are many ways out there to prepare something to eat that does not involve cooking and can be very simple and quick, and also healthy at the same time.

To censor is to act so as to change or suppress speech or writing that is condemned as subversive of the common good. Literary censorship goes back to the office of censor established in Rome in 443 B.C. but however honourable the origins of its name, it is today generally regarded as a relic of an unenlightened and much more oppressive age. It is an infringement of human rights and affects the Librarian in many ways. It also affects the Universal Availability of Publications (UAP), a programme developed within the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and supported by United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

We made a lot of crazy contraptions to fly. The freaky fliers of the wild beat us to this hair-brained idea and succeeded sooner then we did. Without wings, let alone feathers, these two freaky fliers have it easier than any other animal in the world.

One is obviously the bat, which is well known for flying without feathers at all. The thin, frail membranes connected to the forelimbs makes it possible for the bat to take flight. And with this trait, some species of bat are able to catch and eat prey while flying. This membrane on its limbs may tear easily but it is the fastest healing mammalian tissue in the world.

Gas prices have swollen to $4.00 per gallon in the United States. Think it can’t double?

Our friends in Canada already pay the equivalent of $5.00 per gallon. Other countries are paying significantly more. It was only a couple of years ago when we were shocked about $2.00 a gallon for gas when we drove into our local station.

It is all supply and demand. Our demand for gasoline will not diminish, not to any meaningful degree. Even if people stop going on pleasure trips (which will happen if prices get too high), people still need to drive to work, to drop the kids off at school, to buy groceries, to live life. Hybrids and such are not in our mainstream, and any significant push towards this end will take years.
