The Things Google Loves In A Blog
It is no secret that the big search engines are paying a lot of attention to blog content. This is especially true of Yahoo, overture and Google. Google is the site that it is probably the most important for you to get into if you are a serious marketer or want to drive the traffic to your site.
There are a couple of types of codes that you can use to mark up your site to make it more attractive. These are XHTML and CSS. Experts at SEO blogging say that if you use these two languages to mark up your blog then you are bound to attract the positive attentions of the Google search engine bots. However do make sure that any code that you add is accurate and clean of mistakes or you might have your blog sent to the Google sandbox instead of nicely ranked on its search engine pages.
Of course Google also loves blogs that have frequently updated content, especially if the content is timely and original. It is also attractive to the bots if your content is nicely organized and if it succinctly expresses the most important content in shorter paragraphs with headers punctuating it all. The punchier and shorter your sentences are in a blog, better as well. Spiders are not smart enough to understand complex thoughts.
Yet another way to stay in Google’s good graces is to make sure that all of your page titles, headers, bolded items, anchor tags or anything else that you can put on a blog fully contains significant, pointed and keyword relevant text. If your page titles and filenames are meaningful then it makes it easier for the search engine spiders to index you as your intentions are clarified by your impeccably organized and categorized information.
